B-Funk’s upbringing was filled with wild house parties and hours spent playing video games. Simply put, it was a huge amount of fun for a California child, and it shows in his music, with songs like “Make You Dance.” He had funk melodies brewing in the back of his thoughts. Influenced heavily by musical superstars such as Roger & Zapp, The S.O.S Band, Mtume, Ice Cube, Too Short, and E-40, among others. This inspired him to embark on a musical career at the youthful age of 13. And it has been repaid. His fusion of West Coast, Southern, and other styles of Hip-Hop with a Funk influence has established him as one of the most in-demand Rapper/Producers on the indie scene.

He chose to spend his quarantine time in 2020 creating and releasing five new projects, the most celebrated of which being “Cosmos.” According to his peers, Cosmos is his best effort to date. B-Funk is proving that he can create amazing music even in the most difficult situations, as demonstrated by instant classics such as “Mental Health”, “Who Is The Mack?” and “Talkin Shit” featuring Karmaa.

What is the future of B-Funk? Additional work. His placements and bookings continue to grow, and he grows more motivated by the day. His ambition is to release new music shortly, as he continues to push himself musically and professionally. B-Funk has chosen to focus more of its efforts on the business side of this industry. He says that this will not detract from his daily production of new hits. When you believe he is not working, he is. B-Funk is well aware that his moment has arrived and he is more than prepared to seize it.
